This subject takes a holistic approach to learning by offering authentic and simulated opportunities to develop and connect knowledge related to exercise delivery in a range of settings, including coaching. In this subject, students will draw on a number of related exercise science areas to prepare them to apply theoretical and practical exercise science knowledge in a real-world context. This subject will allow the student to integrate learning related to exercise testing and prescription, physiology, biomechanics, skill acquisition and other key areas of exercise and sport science in a practical way. Students will be presented with scenarios which require them to provide exercise prescription in a dynamic context. This includes being prepared to adapt exercise prescription and delivery based upon client feedback, availability of resources, and social context.
