In this subject students develop a working understanding of radiation biology and protection with development of knowledge and skills that translate to appropriate and safe clinical practice from a radiation exposure perspective. The subject contextualises theoretical concepts in radiobiology, health physics and radiation protection and, where appropriate, utilises applied mathematical concepts. Students are armed with the knowledge, skills and attitudes for regulatory compliant, ethical, safe and appropriate radiation practices.
