In order to develop successful systems, IT professionals need to understand some of the components of the environment in which the systems operate as well as performing the necessary tasks that will ultimately lead to the implementation of a system. This subject investigates aspects of professional practice and specific tasks that need to be undertaken in order to initiate an IT project.
