This subject contains a 288 days Compulsory Workplace Learning component.
To meet accreditation requirements students are required to be employed in ultrasound practice for a minimum of 3 days/week over a 2 year period, full-time equivalent, in an Australian or New Zealand clinical setting. During the workplace learning students will be expected to put their theoretical knowledge into practice and gain competancy in diagnostic ultrasound scanning such that by the end of the course they have achived the ASA competency standards for an entry level sonographer.
