ACC589 Global Strategy & Leadership CPA (8)

Abstract

Strategy and leadership are at the centre of successful organisations. To be effective, accountants must be proficient in business strategy analysis, creation and, through leadership, strategy implementation. This capstone subject builds on prior studies in ethics, governance, strategic management accounting and financial reporting to present students with a framework for strategic action and leadership useful throughout their careers. Students will learn how continuous change in the competitive landscape creates risks and opportunities for business leaders. This subject will also promote an awareness of how strategic management and leadership ultimately affect an organisation’s bottom-line financial performance.
