EHR419 Exercise Science Honours Dissertation (16)

Abstract

This subject permits students to apply their knowledge of research methodology to a problem in the area of Exercise Science and to present their findings in the form of a project report. Students are required to apply a research proposal under the guidance of a supervisor, to plan and carry out the research, and to present the findings in an academically conventional fashion. This subject is normally restricted to candidates enrolled in the Bachelor of Exercise Science(Honours) program.

- apply their knowledge of research methodology to the study of a chosen exercise science problem or issue;
- demonstrate competence in data collection and research planning;
- write a research report that complies with academic conventions.

Syllabus

The subject will cover the following topics:
A pre or corequisite knowledge of the content of the existing subjects: EHR416 Advanced Concepts in Exercise Science EHR417 Research Design in Exercise Science Application of this knowledge to the exploration of an Exercise Science issue or problem.
