ENM415 Environmental Management of Mine Sites and Contaminated Lands (8)

Abstract

This subject provides an introduction to the theoretical and practical aspects for understanding the impacts of mining and contaminated land on the environment; how to manage public health and safety; and methods for assessing and managing environmental problems associated with mining and contaminated sites. In addition, it provides the theoretical and practical aspects for developing decisions that appropriately address the factors that relate to mine sites and  contaminated lands. The subject has no residential school.
