MGT120 Management in Practice (8)
AbstractThis subject utilizes a case study approach as the underlying educational approach; students are required to link management concepts with the practice of management in real world contexts. In additional to interactions with a business manager you will also be asked to reflect on your present management capability through reflecting on prior experiences (utilizing a self management evaluation tool). The subject requires students to undertake a situational analysis of a relevant industry from an Australian and international perspective. Change issues are identified both at the individual and industry levels. The Sustainable Management Model (SMM) is introduced as one means of analysing a business using a systems approach. This subject also requires you to 'manage' within a group - by interacting with other students to complete a problem solving case study. |
