This subject introduces students to the ideas, issues and practical considerations of classroom drama curriculum 7-12. Students will develop an understanding of the elements of drama and the practices of making, performing and appreciating drama. They will explore a range of dramatic forms, performance styles, dramatic techniques and theatrical conventions. Students will develop strategies to devise a range of learning opportunities to facilitate both individual and collaborative learning through making, performing and appreciating drama in a range of contexts.
