This subject provides an introduction to environmental impact assessment (EIA) and environmental auditing. This includes the environmental impact assessment process, Commonwealth and State based environmental planning and pollution laws, as well as methodologies associated with impact prediction, environmental assessment, and environmental auditing. There is a no residential school associated with this subject. On completion, students are able to develop the appropriate documentation for an environmental impact statement and respond appropriately to an environment audit or environmental management system.
