This subject is designed to provide a specialist understanding of the provision of information resources and services within the learning and teaching context of the school. Search strategies, information sources and resource evaluation are examined in relation to print and digital environments. The teacher librarians role in the creation, design, structure and flow of information in the school is explored, in particular the use of Web 2.0 tools. The design of physical and virtual school library spaces and their relationship to the curriculum is also examined.
