The successful performance of a business is closely linked to an efficient and effective staff, which can also be a source of competitive advantage. This subject introduces students to the roles and functions of managing staff and provides tools on how to employ, manage, appraise and reward staff, within ethical, moral and legal obligations. Students will be required to link these key concepts with their own small business setting.
