The aim of this subject is to build on the specialist knowledge captured in the Graduate Certificate, and explore advanced notions of fire and fire investigation. In particular, this subject will equip the student with advanced knowledge of the impact of fire on buildings and building materials, and the behaviour of buildings and building components affected by fire. Through this subject students will develop the knowledge required to professionally investigate fires involving buildings and a variety of building component materials.
