This subject will introduce the history, principles and applications of typography as a means of expression and communication. It will also examine the relationship between type and image within the context of both print and web. Students will explore page structure and the use of grids within single and double page print layouts as well as multiple web page layouts, beginning to build an appreciation of related production processes.
