This subject introduces students to the theories and pedagogy of languages other than English (LOTE) for years K-10. The progression from early, to middle and upper years of schooling are addressed in the K-12 context. Students will develop an understanding of the teaching strategies appropriate to the design, implementation and assessment of high quality LOTE curriculum teaching and learning programs that cater for the needs of diverse learners.
