This subject extends students knowledge of conditions of a neurodevelopmental origin, including learning disorders, attention-deficit disorder, autistic spectrum disorders, and the broader range of neurodevelopmental conditions which affect cognition and behaviour throughout the lifespan. Students will examine the diagnostic classification, epidemiology and aetiology of these conditions, and learn how to enhance diagnosis and practice through the conduct of accurate psychological assessments and the selection of interventions.
