International Applicants
Before applying for a position at Charles Sturt University, please consider the following:
- Australian immigration requirements may preference employment of citizens and permanent residents of Australia.
- Is your family prepared to relocate to Australia in the event you may be offered a position?
- You will need to hold an appropriate level of health cover for you and your dependents.
- You may be required to pay the full cost for education for you or any dependants.
If you are offered employment, you will be required to have an appropriate work visa before you commence. Your offer of employment will indicate if the University will sponsor you for a visa that will allow you to reside and work in Australia. As a sponsored employee there will be restrictions on your ability to engage in work for other employers. An assessment of any overseas qualification/s and/or skills may be necessary. Information about this process is available from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship website.
