The 8th May marked 99 years from the day a group of Anglican bishops dedicated our site in Barton, at the time planned to be a national Anglican Cathedral. To celebrate the history of the site and the Centre, an event was held as a renewal for the Centre.
Bishop Mark Short commissioned Professor Peter Sherlock as Executive Director of the Centre in a wonderful evening of celebrations including welcoming Professor Ruth Powell, and Professor Stan Grant launching Professor Sherlock's most recent book, The Monuments of Westminster Abbey: Power and Memory in Early Modern Britain.
Our new Executive Director's address is now available online. Congratulations Peter and Ruth, and thanks everyone for your ongoing support of the Centre!
