PaCT Fellow and Lecturer at the Centre for Islamic Studies and Civilisations (CISAC) Dr Mahsheed Ansari recently participated in a Women in Scripture Reasoning Day which explored the theme of ‘Sarah and Hagar’ in Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The event was held on the 27 September 2018 at the Mary MacKillop Centre in North Sydney and was part of an exposure day for students in the Graduate Certificate in Theology.....

Researchers at the Centre for Islamic Studies and Civilisation (CISAC), Charles Sturt University who are looking at Australian Muslim Heritage have received media attention for their work into the life and work of Dr Qazi Ashfaq Ahmad. The PaCT-funded research project began in 2018 and is looking at influential, active and philanthropic Muslim pioneers in post war years-Dr Qazi Ashfaq Ahmad and Sheikh Fehmi. PaCT Fellow Dr Jane Foulcher has recently had an article published in Spiritus: A Journal of Christian Spirituality 18, no 2. (2018): 218-30. It resulted from a presentation at the conference of the Society for the Study of Christian Spirituality, Keppel, Switzerland, held 27-29 June 2017.
