CSU Handbook

The Charles Sturt University Handbook, published by Academic Governance, is the official handbook of the University's courses and subjects. The Handbook is published as a reference for use by students and staff. All courses in the Handbook will be available to new students in the year of publication unless specified otherwise in the Course Availability Modes and Locations section of each course, and the course structure/enrolment pattern given for each course is the one that will be undertaken by students who commence study in the year of publication. However, not all subjects listed will be taught in the given year.

For information on specific Academic or Administrative Policy, Rules and Regulations students should consult the the University Policy Library's Student portal.

Information regarding the session in which a particular subject will be taught is also available online for enrolled students via the Subject Availability Listing.

The information contained in the Handbook was accurate at the date of publication: August 2016, however the University reserves the right to vary the information at any time without notice.

Note: CSU underwent a Faculty Restructure in July 2016, from four to three Faculties. Courses in the 2016 Handbook have been re-ordered to suit this process.
