This subject through a lecture program and workshop tutorials explores the relationship that exists between technical information and individual interpretation of visual information. Students focus on developing individuality through experimentation and technical understanding. Minor Study 3 is available in Drawing, Illustration, Painting, Textile, Silversmithing.

The subject will cover the following topics:
This subject, through lectures and tutorial workshops, will cover the following topics: Design and Production contemporary arts practitioners approaches and production; exploration of the image through analysis of appropriate technique and materials; materials, properties and their influence on the making process. Design/Making two and three dimensional works: contemporary practioners; approaches to imagemaking to achieve visual outcome.
