EPT332 Training in Adult and Vocational Education (8)

Abstract

In this subject students will learn about, and operate within, policy and regulatory frameworks both governmental and organisational. Students will engage with theories relating to teaching, learning, assessment and evaluation and will link these to their practice. A practicum of 50 hours is included in this subject. This subject will include content from key Units of Competency from the TAE40110 Training Package.

EPT103; EPT203; EPT220; EPT430; EPT301 or EPT327. This subject is not available to students who have been granted the VET03C or VET02C credit.

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:

Work Place Learning

This subject contains a Compulsory Workplace Learning component of 6 days duration. The 50 hours of workplace learning /practicum for this subject is made up of the following components:
  • Approximately 15 hours delivery of teaching/training sessions
  • Approximately 15 hours undertaking assessment tasks
  • Approximately 20 hours preparation of training and assessment sessions
