HLT515 Health Science Research Portfolio (32)


This subject is an independent investigation in a health-related topic involving the critical review of the existing literature and either: (a) the collection, analysis and interpretation of new data; or (b) the original analysis and interpretation of existing published data. Students will conduct their investigation under the supervision of an appropriate CSU academic.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this subject, students should:
  • be able to analyse, evaluate and review current research literature
  • be able to conduct a study in an area related to the practise of their health discipline
  • be able to collect and critically analyse data relevant to the research project
  • be able to write a scientific paper for a peer reviewed journal
