How to apply

What to include

Your application should include (unless stated otherwise):

  • A copy of your Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • A statement addressing the selection criteria
  • Academic roles only - A list of publications and research or consulting activities may also be required.

Application submission

Your application should be submitted using CSU’s online application system (unless advised otherwise) accessed through the job vacancy “apply” button. When completing the online application it is important to remember the following:

  • Check the position listed at the top of the page is the one you are applying for.
  • You have 30 minutes in which to submit your application. If you exceed 30 minutes your application will “time out” and you will need to start again.
  • Fill out the application form
    • All fields marked with an “*” are mandatory
    • DO NOT use punctuation such as commas or full stops within the application form
  • Attach your documents
    • Word or PDF format only
    • Keep document names concise and meaningful (Include your name and the name of the document eg JSmith_selectioncriteria)
    • Document size maximum 2 MB
  • Check the declaration and privacy box
    • Failure to do so will result in a failure to submit your application and loss of attachments
  • Review your application
    • Ensure details are correct (particularly telephone number and email address)
    • Ensure supporting documents are attached
  • Submit your application
    • You will receive a pop up message confirming submission. It is recommended you retain a copy for your records
    • An automated reply will be forwarded to your email address confirming acceptance of your application
