I am a feminist and anti-racist theorist and social researcher. My theoretical work explores the relationship between sexuality and care, particularly in the contexts of gender, work and migration. My social research in academia and in the Victorian women’s health sector has used qualitative feminist methods to understand women’s experiences in relation to various topics, including gender and climate change/disaster, women’s poverty, and domestic violence. Some of my research focuses on lesbian identity and experience, as well as the political and economic dimensions of compulsory heterosexuality.Members
