Dr Riaz Uddin is a public health researcher specialising in preventive medicine, health promotion, and behavioural epidemiology. He holds a PhD from The University of Queensland and was awarded an Alfred Deakin Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Deakin University. His expertise includes research methodology, systematic reviews, and statistical modelling and data interpretation. Dr Uddin has published over 90 peer-reviewed articles, with more than 27,900 citations (h-index: 40). His work features in The Lancet journals and other leading publications. His research addresses global and regional health issues, particularly non-communicable diseases, adolescent wellbeing, and health equity.
