Dr Kedir Ahmed is an epidemiologist and health data scientist with a clinical background (BSc, 2010), two master's degrees, one in Public Health (MPH, 2013) and another underway in Health Data Science (MHDS, expected 2025), as well as a PhD from Western Sydney University, Australia. Dr Ahmed expertise lies in designing epidemiological studies, analysing complex datasets, and interpreting results using advanced statistical and machine learning methods to generate actionable insights from health data. Dr Ahmed’s research focuses on deepening our understanding of how modifiable risk factors influence population health, particularly in the context of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and obesity.
