Dilhani, an experienced Research Technical Officer has previously worked with South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI), where she was involved in research on Queensland and Mediterranean fruit flies.

Prior to this, she worked for the Department of Agriculture Sri Lanka as an Agriculture Monitoring Officer for over 7 years, providing agriculture advice on field and horticultural crops with special focus on controlling pest and diseases.

As a sessional academic with Charles Sturt University for over 3 years, Dilhani continues to broaden her knowledge and experience in Biology, Microbiology and Botany.
