The Three Rivers Commencing Student Scholarship provides commencing health students with the chance to participate in workplace learning focused on aged care. This scholarship aims to deliver essential health services to support the aging population. Our team can assist you in establishing connections within our network to complete a workplace learning placement and reflect on your experiences working with the elderly whenever possible. By accepting this scholarship, it is anticipated that you demonstrate interaction with people from the aging population or participate in an aged care related workplace learning placement within the Three Rivers DRH footprint. This may be in the form of reflection on how you have interacted with the older population in a rural setting whilst undertaking workplace learning by contributing an article of up to 500 words to our socials and participating in an interview which we will ask you about your experience. | $20,000, paid over 2 years | Applications open |
