Normal course duration

Full-time 3.0 years (6.0 sessions)

Refer to the course structure and enrolment pattern for full-time and part-time students including the enrolment patterns for Division 2 Nurses Diploma of Nursing NSW TAFE Course No.4393; and Diploma of Nursing Course No.HLT51607 and HLT 51612 and Division 2 Nurses Cert1V NSW TAFE (2008 and beyond; and Course No. 3262 and Division 2 Nurses Cert1V NSW TAFE (prior to 2008) Course No.3228.

  • Normal course duration is the effective period of time taken to complete a course when studied Full-time (Full-time Equivalent: FTE). Students are advised to consult the Enrolment Pattern for the actual length of study. Not all courses are offered in Full-time mode.
  • Admission criteria CSU Admission Policy

    Students will be admitted to the BN according to CSU Admission Regulations. Entry requirements are consistent with the Pathways to Qualifications in the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF Level 7) guidelines for Bachelor Degrees.

    Admission to the course is based on  the following:

    Mid Year Intake only  for  Enrolled Division 2 Nurses  Diploma of Nursing qualification

    Enrolled Division 2 Nurses with a current practicing certificate with the NMBA  holding one of the following  Diploma of Nursing qualifications must apply  for the mid year intake into the BN. Applications  will be made to and processed by CSU Admissions Office. 

    Credit CSU Credit Policy

    Students who have previously completed part or all of a tertiary course may be eligible for credit, as per CSU Credit Regulations.
