Computing and Printing Facilities

Computing and printing facilities are available to assist with your studies. You can access the internet, your online subject material and print. Printing and internet access is provided on a cost per use basis.

Computing Facilities

Computing facilities are in computing labs, libraries and learning commons on all major campuses. You can also borrow tablets from each campus Library.

24 hour access

Albury, Bathurst, Orange, Port Macquarie and Wagga Wagga campuses provide computing facilities in areas which are accessible 24 hours a day using your university card. Access is granted automatically upon enrolment. If you experience any problems with your university card, contact Student Central

Printing Facilities

You can print to printers at Charles Sturt University by using:

  • A computer in the learning commons or computing labs
  • Personal laptops/devices/computers using My Print (excludes Apple (iOS) mobile devices); and
  • Using VDI to print from your own device when working from home or another location

Paying for printing

Printing and photocopying are paid for with your university card (scanning is free). Payments made online are the quickest way to add credit to your university card printing account.

Ways to check your university card account balance

  1. Go to Charles Sturt University Card Portal
  2. Log into a printer in a learning commons/computer lab
  3. Check your university card account balance on an EFTPOS loader

Printing costs

Each time you print, costs are deducted from your printing account balance. Costs are incurred for:

  • Number of pages printed
  • Type of job (black/white or colour, single sided or duplex)
  • Page size (A4 or A3)
