Biography

Dr Wang demonstrates leadership in developing his discipline, teaching and research. He has a strong interest in neuroscience, established lab-based research on the brain ageing and proposed “precursor hypothesis” on the progression of ageing to neurodegenerative diseases - which is regarded as a notable theoretical breakthrough in the field. His team also conducts community-based studies on rural health promotion. He has a track record of research output while training Postdoc, PhD, Master’s and Honours students.
