Careers Festival 2026

Big thanks to everyone who joined us for three inspiring days at the Careers and Skills Festival, held in May 2026.

This year’s program featured eight curated online sessions led by industry experts and career specialists - each designed to spark ideas, build confidence, and help you take your next step with purpose. We were delighted to welcome an exceptional lineup of speakers, including:

  • Rumali Kularatne (Future Women) – Building Career Confidence
  • Sophie Renton (McCrindle) – The Future of Work: Trends Shaping Your Career
  • Bob Athwal (Skyscanner) – How to Get Hired: Expert Insights

We also explored how to turn Charles Sturt Global experiences into employability outcomes, and we delivered a three‑part Career Essentials workshop series:

  • Your Career Roadmap
  • Career Check‑In
  • Getting the Job

Whether you’re starting out, switching paths, or upskilling, the festival offered something for every stage of your journey.

Don't worry, if you couldn't make the workshops as all sessions are now available as YouTube recordings, perfect for revisiting key insights or catching up on anything you missed.

Now is always the right time to think about your career and we, at the Careers and Skills Hub are here to help. Please don't hesitate to book a careers appointment with our team anytime to explore your goals, plan your next steps, and take your career forward with confidence
