I'd love to be a part of the SRC because I believe that uni should be more than just lectures and deadlines. As an international student, I know how overwhelming managing study, work, and social life (barely) can be. Hence, I look forward to creating a safe space where everyone feels comfortable and heard. I wish to advocate for more inclusive events and mental support. I strongly believe in community and making the most out of uni life !!

I want to be part of the SRC because I want to speak up for students and help make positive changes. As an international nursing student, I know it can be hard to manage study, work, and placements. I believe placement locations should be considered more carefully because travelling far is difficult and expensive, especially for students who don’t have a car or family support. If placements are closer, students can spend less time worrying about travel and focus more on their studies and learning. I want to help make sure every student is heard and has fair opportunities and better support throughout their studies.

As per my opinion, there are very less social gatherings in which students can communicate and get to know each other. It is important to often be social to deal with the possible stress b peer pressure.

I am passionate about making Bathurst a campus where every student feels heard, supported, and connected. As a nursing student, I understand the challenges of balancing classes, placements, work, and personal commitments. If elected to the SRC, I will listen to students concerns and advocate for practical improvements that enhance both academic success and student wellbeing. The issues I care about most are better mental health support, stronger communication between students and the University, increased support for international and rural students, and creating more affordable social, cultural, and networking events that bring our campus together. I believe every student deserves a voice, and I am committed to representing yours with integrity, respect, and action. Together, we can build a more inclusive, engaging, and supportive Bathurst campus experience for everyone.

While I’ve never held a formal leadership position before, I believe everyone has to start somewhere, and I’m excited to take that first step at Charles Sturt University. Moving to Australia to study nursing has been one of the biggest changes in my life. Like many students, I have experienced the challenges of settling into a new country, balancing university, placements, work, finances, and trying to maintain a healthy study-life balance. These experiences have helped me understand how important it is for students to feel supported and heard.
I want to be part of the Student Representative Committee because I genuinely care about making a positive difference. I enjoy listening to people, understanding their concerns, and working together to find practical solutions.
