I want to be part of the SRC because I am passionate about creating a positive and inclusive environment where every student feels heard and supported. I enjoy working with others, listening to different perspectives, and helping turn ideas into meaningful action. Being involved in the SRC again would allow me to represent my peers, contribute to improving student life, and organise initiatives that strengthen our campus community. I am a reliable, approachable, and enthusiastic person who is committed to making a positive difference and ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive.

Getting involved in uni life at CSU has been one of the best parts of my degree. As a current OSRC member, I’ve loved helping organise events like May Ball, Bush Bash and Intervarsity, there’s nothing better than seeing students come together and actually enjoy themselves. I’m also a Student Ambassador, and I was that person who lived on campus in first year even though I’m only seven minutes away, because I’ve got serious FOMO and genuinely didn’t want to miss a thing uni life had to offer!! I know how much a strong campus community can shape someone’s university experience, and I’d love to keep creating opportunities for students to connect, get involved and enjoy everything the Orange CSU campus has to offer. I’m excited to continue representing students and helping make our campus an even more welcoming and fun place to be.

I would like to be a part of the SRC once again as I loved putting on events for the Orange CSU students.
Providing social outings or sporting events for students as a way to wind down and have some fun in between studying brings me so much joy.
In particular seeing the CSU students come together as a community is uplifting; to be a part of the SRC this allows me to have my part in creating a welcoming community focusing on inclusivity, happiness and encouraging fellow CSU students.
Students need a team that listen to their needs, consider what is most important and be a confident voice for all students. I believe I have the morals, passion and friendly nature worth contributing to the SRC for the better of the University environment.

Doctor of Philosophy

As an international third-year PhD student, I have had the privilege of seeing the SRC grow over the past two years and create inclusive events that bring together students from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and levels of study across our vibrant Orange campus. I am passionate about fostering a strong sense of community at university, and I believe student-led initiatives are among the best ways to do so. In my professional roles, I have gained experience in coordination and community engagement, and I currently help facilitate initiatives that help the HDR and international student community become better connected to their peer group and the larger student network here at Orange. If elected, I would advocate for students whose voices are often underrepresented, including international students, HDR candidates, mature-age students, student parents, and those from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Bachelor of Clinical Science (Medicine) / Doctor of Medicine

I’m putting my hand up for the SRC because I genuinely want to make uni feel less like something you just get through and more like something you’re actually part of. It’s easy to feel like just a number, especially when you’re juggling study with work, family, or life outside campus, and I want to help change that by pushing for better communication between students and staff, and support services that are actually easy to access when you need them. The things I care about: mental health support that doesn’t feel like a box-ticking exercise, a fair go for students studying remotely or at regional campuses, and more clarity around when and how we get feedback on assessments. I also just want uni to feel more social, more connected, where people from different courses actually get to know each other. I’m not promising to fix everything, but I’ll listen.
