Bachelor of Health and Medical Science
I wish to be apart of the SRC to make uni life for everyone feel as inclusive and as fun as possible. I wish to bring exciting ideas to the src to get everyone involved in the community. Issues I find important include, people feeling that they don't belong and my aim is to change this, putting my best self forward to help each individual feel valued and supported. Moving away from home can be scary for many but by creating a space for people to feel comfortable may make the experience easier. My goal is to make uni life an experience to remember for all the good reasons.

Doctor of Medicine
I have served as Secretary of 2 student clubs in 2024 (ICS and Cockatoos) and have thoroughly enjoyed my roles with representing the student body and working to deliver on student feedback. I hope to join the OSRC to advocate for students studying at CSU Orange to foster a positive culture on campus. In the last 3 years I have been on this campus, I have thoroughly enjoyed attending many OSRC led events and initiatives - back to school CSU night, CS or U party, May Ball, Social Sport, BBQs. I have made many friends from different courses, and had many enjoyable experiences, which I would not have had without the work of previous committees. I enjoy working with fellow students to plan and assist with the execution of events and programs that reflect student interest. I aim to develop my skills in leadership and managing responsibilities, as well as working as part of an executive team. On campus, I will aim to listen to the opinions and feedback of my peers, to allow for the development of programs i.e. sport, community engagement, social events, and fundraise to provide student services and resources i.e. BBQ's. I believe that being on the OSRC will allow me to work to create a positive and supportive environment on campus, which is inclusive and welcoming for all students.

Bachelor of Clinical Science (Medicine)/Doctor of Medicine
I am passionate about ensuring that all students feel supported and included in university life. University can be a big transition, and having a strong support network and student-led initiatives makes a huge difference. I've seen the impact that the OSRC has had in creating a vibrant and engaging campus experience, and I want to be a part of that. As a 1st Year Representative, I want to be a voice for my peers and play an active role in helping to create opportunities - whether through social events or campus improvements in order to make university life more enjoyable and rewarding for everyone.

Master of Philosophy
Hi, I am Sakib—a second-year Master of Philosophy student at the Orange campus, with a background in microbiology and a deep love for people and community. Moving here as an international Muslim-Asian student was not easy. I faced the quiet challenges of starting over in a new country, culture, and environment. These experiences have shaped my belief in fairness, empathy, and the importance of belonging. I want to make sure every student, no matter their background, feels seen, heard, and valued. I enjoy simple things that bring people together—like playing table tennis, watching anime, or having a quiet game of chess. I believe student life should be fun, inclusive, and full of opportunities to connect. If elected to the SRC, I will be a voice you can count on—honest, understanding, and always here to listen. Let’s make our campus a place where everyone feels at home.

Bachelor of Pharmacy
A bit about me, I am from Sydney and attending Charles Sturt in my first year of pharmacy with the aim of getting into dentistry. During my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and focusing on my hobbies, which are playing sports and the piano.
I am passionate about becoming a voice for my fellow students and getting involved in the community, whether it's inside or outside uni. I think I'd be a great representative for Orange CSU as I enjoy working in a collaborative environment and organising events. I'd love to contribute my energy and fun vibe to the team while still being able to listen and provide feedback to other people's ideas. Ultimately, by joining the OSRC, I could make use of my spare time to become more meaningful and beneficial to people around me.
