Your Albury-Wodonga SRC Representatives 2022/2023

Elected in 2021

Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary)

“Be the change that you wish to see in the world", Gandhi.

I believe this quote is critical because the only way we can have changed is through new ideas and discussions.

I am applying for SRC to ensure my voice is heard on important issues that may affect students at Charles Sturt University Albury-Wodonga.

My particular interests are social justice and education. As a pre-service teacher, I believe I can gain valuable communication skills from the SRC, which I will be able to apply to my teaching career.

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy

As an off campus student I understand how important it is to have opportunities to meet others. I would love to help build up our campus community especially now that we can all be here. I would like to help facilitate the engagement of students on and off campus and support their wellbeing.

Bachelor of Education (K-12)

Known to many as SRC royalty, I am back for another run at the SRC. While I am focusing more on my studies as I reach the end of my degree, I can still help and be a part of the SRC. Key features of importance to me are providing opportunities for students, helping out at all sorts of events, and representing student interests at a university leadership level. I am also keen on reestablishing more student clubs and getting more students interested in taking leadership roles across the university to lighten the load on already existing student leaders.

Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary)

I wish to be part of the SRC to help resolve the issues that I find important to me. The issues that I find important to me are: - Trying to include local students to make it to events with res students by branching out more. - Try to get more carpark spaces in residential areas (Albury specific). - Encouraging more students to make it to events ran by the SRC (night and day activities). - More and earlier announcements  for important days and events. Being part of the SRC it would help me find ways to fix or to suggest the issues
