I am excited to take on the role of student representative because I have a strong desire to improve the community on campus and speak up for my peers. With my ability to communicate clearly and my proactive approach to problem-solving, I am dedicated to effectively representing the concerns of students and working with other committee members to bring about significant changes. Having held leadership positions in the past and participating actively in campus events, I have a thorough awareness of the problems that today's students face. In the event that I am chosen, my goals are to encourage diversity, advance the welfare of students, and improve our educational process. I'm committed to carrying out my duties in my capacity with honesty and zeal.

I wish to be part of SRC (Bathurst) to represent student views, ensure that the learning environment is welcoming, supporting and fun for everyone. I really believe every individual deserves to be heard and to have a voice in the decisions that affect their educational experience. On my heart, I have set current issues such as improving student-staff communication, awareness of mental health, and ensuring equity in school rules. With this, I want to plan activities that promote school spirit, with opportunities to socialize and get involved. If elected, I promise to listen to each of your demands and issues and represent your interests, working diligently, for positive changes we can all benefit from.

I want to bring more vibrancy and life to campus, I have seen first hand how student-led initiatives can shape a positive campus experience. I want to be able to bring back that same vibrancy that I experienced. I’m passionate about increasing campus vibrancy by creating more opportunities for students to connect, have fun, and feel part of a strong community. I also want to ensure that all students have access to clubs, activities, and social events, regardless of their background or circumstances, so everyone can get the most out of their time at uni.

Social events should be held more frequently so that people can get to know more about different cultures. Moreover, workshops can help students to gain knowledge about university life and their future plans. Also, a friendly atmosphere can be of great help to the freshers to adjust in the new environment. Lastly, scholarships will surely work as a catalyst and would motivate the students to do better in their fields.

As per my opinion, there are very less social gatherings in which students can communicate and get to know each other. It is important to often be social to deal with the possible stress b peer pressure.

I'd love to be a part of the SRC because I believe that uni should be more than just lectures and deadlines. As an international student, I know how overwhelming managing study, work, and social life (barely) can be. Hence, I look forward to creating a safe space where everyone feels comfortable and heard. I wish to advocate for more inclusive events and mental support. I strongly believe in community and making the most out of uni life !!
