Your Port Macquarie SRC Representatives for 2025/2026

Elected in 2025

Bachelor of Information Technology

I'd love to be part of the SRC because I enjoy helping others and want to make student life a little easier and more enjoyable for everyone. Being an international student myself, I understand how overwhelming everything can be; especially when it comes to getting used to living and working in a different country. I care about creating a welcoming space where all students feel heard, supported, and connected. I'm especially interested in improving communication between students and staff, encouraging mental well-being, and organizing fun or useful events. If you vote for me I will listen, I will advocate when necessary, and I will work to represent you to the best of my ability.

I would love to continue to be apart of the SRC to enhance the student experience. I'd like to continue to do events and activities that are engaging and create a communal atmosphere. I'd also like to ensure that all students have a say in what happens around campus, to ensure we are inclusive for everyone, and that the university experience is as enjoyable as possible

Elected in 2025

Master of Professional Information Technology

I'm passionate about representing student voices and ensuring everyone feels heard and supported at CSU. As an international student, I understand the challenges many of us face whether it's adjusting to a new environment, managing finances, or accessing support services. I want to be part of the Student Representative Committee to advocate for better student welfare, clearer communication, and more inclusive events. I believe in building a stronger, more connected student community where everyone feels they belong.

Bachelor of Education (K - 12)

Being on the SRC for semester one has honestly been one of my favourite parts of uni. I've loved helping at events like Do it for Dolly Day and Foundation Day and seeing people show up and have fun on campus. I'm running because I believe that the SRC makes uni life more enjoyable through the various projects and events run on campus. I want to make this a place where people can create fun memories while they study, and I want to keep showing up for the student community. I've learned a lot so far this year, and I'm excited to keep building on that learning and and bring more ideas to life.

Elected in 2025

Bachelor of Paramedicine

I want to be part of the SRC so I can contribute to campus vibrancy and bring life to the campus. I also like to bring positive change.

Elected in 2025

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy

As a non res student, I find disconnect between those who live on campus compared to those who do not, an issue I wish to change by becoming a part of the SRC. I will provide a unique voice for the minority of students, particular first years, who do not live on campus and how we can be better supported in our studies and better included in university activities. I have previously been an SRC leader in my high school community and will be able to carry over these skills to support our SRC team here at CSU. Further, I will be able to represent my small cohort of which I'm from, being an Occupational Therapy student, and will advocate for how smaller cohorts can be better supported in university activities. I also am able to provide representation to minority cultural groups through my Vietnamese ethnicity.

Elected in 2025

Bachelor of Criminal Justice

I wish to be part of the Student Representative Council because I am passionate about contributing to student life and being a voice for my peers. Having previously served as Vice President, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of helping to organise events, supporting initiatives, and working alongside a diverse group of students and staff. The role gave me the opportunity to develop leadership and teamwork skills while also building strong connections within the community. I want to continue creating positive experiences for students, ensuring their ideas and concerns are heard, and helping shape a welcoming and inclusive environment. Being involved in the SRC has been both rewarding and motivating, and I would love the opportunity to keep contributing, learning, and making a difference.

Elected in 2025

Bachelor of Paramedicine

Since starting at Charles Sturt, I've found the people and place to be welcoming. I've enjoyed O-week, SRC, and Resident's association events, and have made use of university services. This has inspired me to nominate for SRC, so that I can give back and collaborate with other student leaders to plan events and activities. I think these allow meaningful interactions building the foundations for creating connections and community. I want to be a part of creating an environment where students feel seen, heard, and can be involved. Furthermore, I'm interested in issues such as student wellbeing, accessibility and inclusion, and furthering extracurricular engagement at the Port Macquarie campus. These areas can always be strengthened, and I'd love to contribute to their growth. I'm committed to supporting and serving students however I can.

Elected in 2025

Bachelor of Education (K - 12)

I am a suitable candidate for a position in the SRC as I am a very social, approachable, and passionate individual. I carry life skills such as problem-solving, accountability, active listening, time management, and integrity. I have leadership experience and work well in a team environment. I have great communication skills and would love to put them to good use, by this I mean getting to know my fellow students and not just listening, but hearing what they have to say. I want to contribute to the campus vibrancy and create an environment where students feel welcome and included. I promise to commit to the position and give it my all. Thank you for considering me as your CSU Student Representative.

Bachelor of Paramedicine

Hi, my name is Tully and I am studying paramedicine. I would love to be part of the SRC as I have great ideas and plans for the university and for students to connect with one another and the community. As a current temporary member from early this year, I have found the SRC an amazing experience, connecting with friends and collaborating to host fun and exciting events for all students. One thing that I love is food, pizza, sushi my mum's chicken schnitty, you name it, I eat it. One problem is that prices at the shops just keep going up, its now $8 for a block of chocolate, what a scam. I would like to implement free food, including fruit, noodles and muesli bars, to be available for students once a week to help students be able to save a little extra during university. Thanks

I wish to be part of the Student Representation Committee because I'm passionate about making a positive impact on student life. As a student myself, I understand the challenges we face both academically and personally. I want to be a voice for my peers, ensuring their concerns are heard and addressed. I believe in creating an inclusive and supportive campus environment where everyone feels valued and empowered. Joining the committee would allow me to contribute ideas, advocate for student needs, and help organize events that bring our community together. I'm a good listener, team player, and committed to representing diverse perspectives fairly. This role would not only help me grow as a leader but also give me the chance to give back to the student community that has supported me. I'm eager to be part of a group that drives real change and improves the overall student experience.
