Your Wagga Wagga SRC Representatives for 2025/2026

Elected in 2024

Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Bachelor of Veterinary Science

I am a second year veterinary science student and have previously studied a science degree. I am passionate about utilising student perspectives to effectively direct investment, planning and energy towards events and other supports for individuals and clubs to contribute to the student experience throughout their time at university.

Bachelor of Equine Science

Being part of the SRC has been such a great way to get involved in the uni community. I have loved meeting and working with the other committee members, and it has been a valuable way to work with a great team. It is also amazing to see how much the uni can be brought together via events and other initiatives, brought to students by the SRC. I would love to continue to be a part of the SRC committee.

Elected in 2025

Bach of Med Radiation Sci in Nuclear Med & Molecular Imaging

I am eager to be part of the SRC to represent student voices, promote inclusivity, and help create a supportive and engaging learning environment. As a regional student studying medical radiation science, I understand the challenges of balancing study, work, and personal commitments, especially for those living away from home or facing language and cultural barriers. I'm passionate about advocating for mental health support, academic resources, and opportunities for professional development. I also believe in strengthening connections between students across different campuses and year levels to build a stronger, more united community. If elected, I will listen actively, communicate openly, and work hard to ensure all students feel heard and supported

Bachelor of Education (K - 12)

So far my experience as part of the SRC has been awesome, organising events and figuring out random things that are happening on uni is very enjoyable. I look forward to be able to continue on and create new events and make uni more exciting.

Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Bachelor of Veterinary Science

I'm passionate about amplifying student voices and creating real change on campus. As a committed advocate, I believe every student deserves to feel heard, supported, and represented. Joining the SRC would allow me to channel my energy into improving student life, promoting inclusivity, and sparking new initiatives that reflect the needs and interests of our diverse community. Alongside my role as SAEVS student representative, I want to be a bridge between students and leadership—ensuring transparency, pushing for progress, making sure no voice goes unheard.

Elected in 2025

Bachelor of Animal Science

I've always been involved in representative councils and community committees. I'm passionate about making sure every student has a great university experience. I believe in building morale and supporting students throughout their university journey. I've attended a few SRC meetings and feel confident that I'd be a valuable asset to the team. Along with supporting students, I'd love to be a voice and advocate for each and every one of them. I'm always open to hearing peoples thoughts and concerns, and I'd be proud to be part of the action and positive change for students.

Elected in 2025

Bachelor of Agricultural Science

I would like to join the SRC because I want to assist in bettering the uni experience for current and future students, both socially and academically, and to ensure the voice of students is being heard. I enjoy organising events with the SRC that allow students to step back from their studies and relax with one another.

Elected in 2025

Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Bachelor of Veterinary Science

I would love to become a member of the SRC, as I have seen first-hand, through my role as an RL, my involvement in the VSA Committee, and my participation in SRC meetings, the positive impact SRC initiatives can have on the student body. I am passionate about issues surrounding student safety and wellbeing, and I will work to action ideas that improve morale and create a stronger sense of community. I also have extensive experience as a  social media coordinator in a paid role, a skill I believe would be highly valuable to the SRC. Over the past year, I have developed strong communication skills and gained insight into the perspectives and needs of our student body. I would like to support projects such as a community garden and on-campus events like outdoor cinema nights, which foster connection and create enjoyable spaces for students to engage with one another.

Bachelor of Veterinary Technology

Starting university can be daunting, especially in a new town or later in life. As a mature student who moved from the city to regional NSW, I understand the challenges and opportunities this brings. I believe it is vital to ensure students, especially those new to regional life or returning to study, have access to clear guidance, resources and support networks. Mental health, wellbeing and connection are key issues for me, and I want to create a campus where every student feels welcome and supported. No one should feel isolated or unsure of where to turn for help, whether that is academic advice, social connection or crisis support. I am committed to building bridges between students and the services that can make a real difference, as well as creating spaces where people feel comfortable speaking up and building confidence.
