The Course Design Process, which realises the principles of course design, is supported by CourseSpace. CourseSpace is the bespoke software that supports course teams to engage in course review, design and development. It provides evidence of alignment of the components of the course to meet TEQSA and industry accreditation standards.

CourseSpace provides evidence of the design process including:

  • integration of course standards
  • alignment and mapping of course components
  • planning and record keeping
  • collaborative work
  • feedback from a range of perspectives
  • course approval

In CourseSpace, a course team can collaborate to evaluate and submit courses for internal and external accreditation. The software is comprised of design phases that guide a course team to build a framework for each course, map standards, define authentic course outcomes, and review or create assessment tasks and subjects within a fully integrated, mapped and scaffolded design approach. Feedback is collected throughout the process and is used to inform quality course and subject design. This feedback is used in submissions for Faculty Course Committee course approval.

CourseSpace can also be used to prepare accreditation submissions, and accreditors can review the course online in the software.

Staff at CSU with a CSU log on are able to access CourseSpace to view approved courses.
