Release 3

Introduce new functionality

  • This release introduces the ‘Connection Viewer’ (Beta). The connection viewer is an interactive, graphical representation of the relationship(s) between key CourseSpace constructs i.e. subject, assessment task, evidence and criterion (see attachment).

Introduce new functionality

  • Time out screen (Error message displays if the system has timed the user out).
  • Functional changes to the landing page:
    • Quick links area now includes Last Item Edited and  Last Item Viewed.
  • Global Search
    • Changed look and feel of tabs.
    • New Sub Products tab for global search.
    • Ability to filter global searches using a check box to refine the search to only my courses.

  • Default view in DSNR is now the Matrix View.
  • Edit lock now on or off (no longer a 7 day lock)

Release 2.8

Introduce new functionality

  • New Optional Landing page which includes:
    • New icons (Feedback, Messages, History, Home, Help and Logout)
    • A search facility (Title search for Courses, Product, Subjects and Assessments and modules.
    • Quick link to last accessed course.
    • Pinned Items (e.g. subjects, modules) allowing users to pin current items and use as a bookmark.
    • My Courses list.
    • View Recent Activity.

Permission changes

  • Allow all users to see the content of approved courses.
  • Allow all users to the existence of all version regardless of status
  • Privacy flag for courses: courses can now be flagged by the system administrator so the only designated users have access to the course regardless of course status.

  • Course version added to all Exports.
  • Standards names added to Accreditation Matrix Exports
