Drawing from the strength of the region and people to build a sustainable learning community is the focus for the Port Macquarie campus and Charles Sturt University's values.
The spaces that was designed with students and staff in mind were able to be supported with 24 hour access learning commons area that extends to a vibrant outdoor section with access to all learning spaces inside and out. Classrooms are made into flexible and interactive learning spaces that support rich interaction between students and staff connected by up to date technology. Several spaces have modular movable acoustic walls that can be transformed into spaces for large learning areas, lectures or for conferences.
The Indigenous courtyard has an outdoor fire pit, amphitheatre and seating area for community events and for social learning activities.
