The foundation of learning technologies at CSU is our online learning environment, which we call Interact2.
Interact2 is comprised of our learning management system (Blackboard) complemented by a number of "fit-for-purpose" tools such as Adobe Connect (for online meetings), CSU Replay (for lecture recordings), Turnitin (for plagiarism checking) and more. Wherever possible, these tools are integrated with the learning management system to provide a seamless experience for students and teaching staff.
The Interact2 learning environment evolves over time – new tools are added where they create new affordances for learning and teaching, and old tools can be superseded as better alternatives emerge.

If the criteria such as central support or integration with CSU systems are not met, external educational technologies could be used after a risk register is provided to the relevant HOS and Director, Learning Technologies for consideration.
