Subject Experience Surveys (SuES)

The Subject Experience Survey (SuES) is how we formally evaluate subjects to gather student feedback on their learning experiences in a subject and to meet external reporting requirements for quality assurance purposes.

The Subject Experience Survey (SuES) is conducted online for every subject in every teaching period throughout the year. It provides academic staff with valid and reliable information with which to make informed decisions about improving student engagement and success.

The surveys provide our students with an opportunity to make their voices heard on important aspects of subject delivery, teaching practices and learning experiences.

Universities also have external reporting requirements for quality assurance and enhancement, and the SuES is the standardised instrument used across the institution to formally evaluate subjects to meet our regulatory and compliance obligations.
