Work-integrated learning (WIL) at Charles Sturt University connects what students learn in their course with the realities of professional practice. Through placements, internships, projects, fieldwork, simulations and virtual experiences, students apply their knowledge in genuine workplace and community settings - building the skills, confidence and professional networks that employers value.
WIL is embedded in courses across every faculty and is designed and delivered in partnership with industry and community organisations across regional New South Wales, nationally and internationally. Whether students study online, on campus or in community, WIL experiences are designed to be accessible, safe and meaningful.
