China Joint Corporation Program

Charles Sturt University has delivered higher education programs in China for more than 26 years through the Joint Cooperation Program (JCP). This long-standing partnership enables Chinese students to begin their studies locally before completing their degree with Charles Sturt, reflecting the university’s strong global outlook and commitment to international education.

Breakdown of the Joint Cooperation Program

Long-term partnerships with leading Chinese universities

  • The JCP operates through four formal agreements with:
    • Jilin University of Finance and Economics (JUFE)
    • Yunnan University of Finance and Economics (YUFE).
    • Tianjin University of Commerce (TUC)
      Yangzhou University (YZU).
  • Students begin their Bachelor of Business Studies at their home university, completing the following subjects before transitioning to 14 or 16 subjects delivered by Charles Sturt:
    • 8 subjects at YUFE, TUC and YZU.
    • 10 subjects at JUFE.

Strong graduate outcomes and global impact

  • Over 13,290 students have graduated from these joint programs, highlighting the enduring strength and quality of the partnership.
  • The JCP reflects Charles Sturt’s global approach to education, offering pathways for students to study internationally or gain global experience through partner institutions and study-abroad opportunities.
