We know managing your study administration can be time consuming. That’s why we’re introducing a new Student Management System in late 2026.
Faster, easier administration so you can get back to studying sooner.
Designed with you at the centre, the new system delivers a simpler, more connected experience. Enjoy greater self-service, clearer processes and support when you need it.
We’re incorporating your feedback from our key university surveys into the new system design.
Here’s what you’ve told us:
You'll be able to complete all your study administration in one place, including:

Manage your admission applications with ease. Track your application progress, review submitted applications, view your offers, and accept or decline them online.

Manage your enrolment and progress, including selecting your major, minor and specialisation, planning your study, enrolling in subjects and study load information.

Access and submit a range of forms/requests you need throughout your studies. This includes special consideration requests like subject withdrawals after census and leave of absence, with convenient self-service options.

Keep track of your university finances by viewing and paying invoices, accessing financial statements, and managing your government assistance forms.

Keep your personal information up to date, including your contact details and emergency contacts.

View outstanding requests, approvals, and action reminders that need your attention.
How you manage your study administration is changing, however the Student Portal and Brightspace remain the same. Both platforms have recently been redeveloped and will continue to support you throughout your studies.
Student Portal will remain your main access point, providing a launchpad to access support services, stay on track with checkpoints and manage your studies.
Brightspace will continue to be your main learning hub, where you can access your course content, learning materials and support resources.
Keep an eye out for updates as we get closer to go-live. We’ll continue to share information and keep you informed every step of the way.
