The Online subject “Workplace Learning: Theory and practice” is offered for free to practitioners who supervise CSU students in their workplace as part of their degree.
Supervisors play a vital role in a CSU student's education by providing support, encouragement and ensuring they are prepared for the world of work. This open online subject acknowledges that workplaces shape student learning to such an extent and in such different ways from academic environments that specific understanding of workplaces as learning spaces and workplace learning (WPL) pedagogies is required.
The subject is running in Session 2, beginning on 10 July. Good uptake of this opportunity relies on good publicity. Please circulate through your relevant networks and particularly to practitioners who supervise CSU students in their workplace.
