Distance Education is the official refereed journal of the Open and Distance Learning Association of Australia (ODLAA) Inc. This journal is published twice a year in May and October. ODLAA members receive the journal or direct subscriptions are available. The aim of the journal is to engender and disseminate research and scholarship in distance education, open learning and flexible learning systems. The Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia (HERDSA) refereed journal Higher Education Research and Development is published six times per year. Its articles cover all aspects of higher education and seek to improve practice through research, evaluation or scholarly reflection. EDUCAUSE is a non-profit association whose mission is to advance higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information technology. It focuses on the management and use of computational, network, and information resources in support of higher education's missions of scholarship, instruction, service, and administration. Programs include professional development activities, print and electronic publications, strategic policy initiatives, research, awards for leadership and exemplary practices, and online information services. EDUCAUSE Review is the association's open-access publication for the higher education IT community that looks at current developments and trends in information technology, what these mean for higher education and society. It includes peer-reviewed articles, practical advice and guidance, interactive elements, and multimedia about managing and using information resources in higher education.
