Australian Awards for University Teaching

After returning in 2018, the Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT) have been announced for 2019. The Awards are being administered by Universities Australia.

The Australian Awards for University Teaching are designed to recognise quality teaching practice and outstanding contributions to student learning. Recipients will contribute to systemic change in learning and teaching through ongoing knowledge sharing and dissemination, for example, presentations within the learning and teaching community, collegial mentoring, pairing and networking, and involvement in university and higher education committees.

Three Award programs recognising teaching excellence and outstanding contributions to student learning are available:

For more information on the program, please visit the Universities Australia website; https://www.universitiesaustralia.edu.au/policy-submissions/teaching-learning-funding/australian-awards-for-university-teaching/

Or review the following program outline

In 2019 applicants are required to have registered an intent to submit to mlarnach@csu.edu.au no later than 28 May.

Forms and procedures for this year's Awards will be updated as soon as more information is made available by Universities Australia.
